History of the Foundation
In response to the genocide in Gaza, Dr. Diaa Daoud, a compassionate doctor from Florida, traveled there to provide medical aid. After witnessing the firsthand conditions, he returned to Florida wanting to make a lasting impact. He founded this organization and dedicated it to helping the people of Gaza. This organization now focuses on collecting donations to help out the Gazans in several ways. Whether it’s feeding centers, education outreach, healthcare access, or clothing and essential drives. One of the organization’s key goals is to establish micro-projects in Gaza, empowering residents to achieve self-sufficiency. By creating opportunities for small businesses and sustainable initiatives, these projects enable individuals to provide for themselves and their community, fostering economic growth and resilience amid challenging circumstances.

In a world filled with unimaginable suffering, we at Doctors for Hope believe in the power of compassion, action, and resilience. My recent experience in Gaza has profoundly impacted me, reminding me of the urgent need for solidarity and support for those who have been enduring the unimaginable.

During my two-week mission in Gaza, I witnessed firsthand the dire conditions faced by the people there—conditions that should shock the conscience of the world into action. As an emergency medicine specialist, I saw the pain and desperation in the eyes of children, the resilience of mothers, and the unyielding spirit of families striving to survive amidst the chaos. These experiences have fueled my commitment to our cause more than ever before.
Our foundation, Doctors for Hope, is dedicated to providing medical aid, support, and hope to those who need it most. We are committed to standing by the people of Gaza and other underserved communities, ensuring they receive the medical care and assistance they deserve. Every life saved, every bit of comfort provided, is a step towards a more just and humane world.
